Biography

robs_Bio.jpg Rob Mitchell is a small business owner who has lived in Doylestown, Pennsylvania for more than 10 years with his wife, Tira and their two children, Robert, Jr. and Stephanie.  An Honors Graduate,  Rob holds both an Economics and Juris Doctor of Law degree from Boston University.  Rob earned an Air Force ROTC scholarship and proudly served our nation for seven years including time beyond his mandatory commitment.  As a Judge Advocate General in the United States Air Force, Rob served as a medical consultant for military medical facilities around the world. After returning to civilian life, he has worked as an attorney in many sectors of the health care system.  

Rob strongly believes in fiscal responsibility, especially when it comes to elected officials and their duty to be effective,  responsible stewards of the public‘s money.  Rob recently became active in politics over concern that Congress is irresponsibly spending our tax dollars, growing our government and restricting our freedoms.  Moved to act by the passing of the stimulus bill, Rob helped to organize the first Bucks County tea party event.  Rob’s previous multi-faceted experience as a health care law attorney moved Rob to immerse himself in the details of the health care reform debate beginning with several published articles commenting,  analyzing and discussing various solutions to specific problems within our nation’s health care delivery system.  Rob gained national recognition at the Aug. 2, 2009 Health Care TownHall in Phildelphia when he questioned Senator Arlen Specter over Congress’ failure to read pending health care legislation.  Rob’s insightful commentary on health care reform, has led to several  guest appearances on national cable news networks and talk radio.
